We have worked closely with private individuals, charities, church, commercial and government organisations on restoration and heritage projects. Utilising our workforce of experienced and skilled joiners, we are capable of creating intricate and stunning woodwork while prioritising the preservation of the building’s history.
We have experience of the following timber restoration projects
- Exterior building restoration: Repairing and replacing parts of a building to its original state, including roof timber members such as fascia’s, barge boards, dormers, finials, with the main elevations to include windows, canopies, doorways, louvred vents to name a few.
- Interior building restoration: Renovating the inside of a building to restore or improve its functional and aesthetic features such as doors, linings, architraves to match existing historic profiles, with intricate carved details where required.
- Historical restoration: Restoring a building back to its original historical state, including features such as staircases, wall panelling, ornamental doorways and windows, fitted furniture and exacting copies of original features.
- Adaptive reuse: Converting an existing building into a new, different use, such as turning an old industrial factory into a modern office building.
